The Department of Immigration and Citizenship will be introducing additional fees for many Australian visas. These new charges include additional dependent charges and subsequent temporary entrant charges, and commence for applications lodged on or after 1 July 2013.
The new visa pricing model introduces a A$700 fee for applicants who apply for more than one onshore temporary visa application. Please refer to the Visa Pricing Guide for further information on this charge.
In addition, calculation of Visa Application Charges (VACs) will involve:
- the base application charge
- an additional applicant charge
- a non-internet application charge
These could significantly increase the VAC payable to lodge an Australian visa application after 1 July 2013.
