The ACT Government has released the new ACT Occupation List for State Sponsored Migration under the Subclass 190 Visa. The new list is in effect immediately from 1 August 2014. Occupational availability is highlighted as Open, Limited or Closed.
Open: Applications for this occupation are open – nomination places are available
Limited: Occupations must be verified by ACT Government prior to lodgement
Closed: Applicants working in Canberra in the nominated occupation are eligible to apply. Overseas applicants with close ties (job offer or close family) living in Canberra may be eligible to apply. Occupations must be verified before the application for nomination is lodged.
Applicants eager to seek ACT State Sponsorship are advised to apply as early as possible, since occupational availability can change without notice.
