Following the announcement of the new Skilled Occupation List starting 1 July 2014, we have received many enquiries from Chefs about migration to Australia. This is because “Chef” will return to the SOL list for independent migration.

The Australian has reported that Chefs, Bricklayers and Tilers will be added to the 2014-2015 Skilled Occupation List for Australian Migration.
The two invitation rounds scheduled for 3 June and 17 June 2013 will be the last SkillSelect invitation rounds for the 2012-2013 Migration Year.
On 1 July 2013, the new migration year will commence, resetting occupation ceiling caps and also introducing the annually revised Consolidated Skilled Occupation List.
