1 August 2015 – The NSW State Government has announced changes to the State Nomination Program for the permanent Subclass 190 Visa.
Effective immediately, there are two streams for NSW State Sponsorship, with a new Priority Skilled Occupation List replacing the existing State Nomination Skills List.
There are up to 4000 places available for NSW Nomination in this financial year.

The NSW Government has announced a new selection-based invitation system for State Sponsorship Applications from February 2015. This change affects applications for nomination under the Subclass 190 Visa pathway.
The NSW Government’s State Sponsorship October intake has now closed for the Subclass 190 Visa. 1000 applications were quickly generated and applicants have now been contacted by the NSW Government. Information is now available on upcoming 2015 intakes.
